This is your typical [a:Nicholas Sparks|2345|Nicholas Sparks|https://d.gr-assets.com/authors/1332884095p2/2345.jpg] book. If you've ever read one of his books before, you know how this one will end. At least I did. And that's a shame. But I guess I knew from the moment I started it.

The writing is good, especially in the letters that are in the book. It does get a bit too sweet from time to time though.

As far as the storyline goes, two things annoyed me:
1) Insta-love. Two days and boooom!!! Rainbows and unicorns. Stop, just stop, please?!
2) It dragged. This is a short book, just 212 pages, but it feels like the story doesn't pick up until halfway through the book. That's just not good enough to me.
Apart from that, I really liked it. When you finish the book, it turns out to be a story about something else than what you think it's about when you're reading it.

The characters of this book are all messed up, but of course they turn out to be fine by the end, but it all happens so fast. This is a problem when the first half of the book was so long and dragged and boring, but oh well...
I liked Mark a whole lot, he was a great minor character! The best character of the book, in my opinion.

It's a good book, but I was a bit disappointed I guess. Definitely not the best book from [a:Nicholas Sparks|2345|Nicholas Sparks|https://d.gr-assets.com/authors/1332884095p2/2345.jpg].
